The pregnant dream

I had a dream. I was pregnant. 

Maybe because I am surrounded by pregnant colleagues. Maybe because I was watching a drama before bed time but I dreamed that I was pregnant. 

It was not exactly a happy occasion and I woke up feeling intrigued and slightly disturbed. So I googled the meaning of my dream.

It took me a minute to reflect on this piece of information. It's quite true that I felt my creativity had been suppressed lately. I wanted to take the time out to write. I wanted to get my hands on creative little projects, I just didn't find or make the time for it. I'm uninspired but I want to get the wheels going. This year I wanted to write a novel and complete it. Just for my sake - just for myself.

Code Factory, Jaya Shopping Center

A week ago, I organized an outing for my dear friends to Code Factory. 4 rooms, 6 people each room with 50 mins to escape. 

Since I've been to the Classroom Murder before, I excluded myself from that room and placed the others in that room.

This group managed to escape from this room - props to them for I failed in doing so. Their reaction was the room was fairly easy with everyone working together in a good combination to solve each puzzles.

Luckily this group have brave hearts as I heard that this room was quite eerie. The props were scary and they kept shoving each other to go ahead. I don't think I would want to play in this room, I have a chicken heart. 

I was in this group and it was not scary but it does take some logical thinking and sharp observation skills to get out. We ran out of time - if only we had longer time I'm quite sure we would have gotten out.

The hardest room of all where the group only managed to solve only one puzzle the entire time lol. 

Overall feedback from the groups - teamwork were good and everyone played a part to escape from the rooms. I had fun organizing this team building activity and I enjoyed cracking my brain in the Operation room. 

Since there were no one waiting for the next round, we were allowed to figure out the room and try to complete the rooms by ourselves. I would recommend this escape room activity to anyone who like to take up a challenge.

It might be Cinderella week but the movie of my choice was not the childhood fairy tale. Instead I was attracted to the romantic comedy from Thailand- I fine .. Thank you ... Love you. 

Yes, the title is weird and the movie is quite cliche with a predictable ending but it's been a while since I indulged in a nice sweet movie. I was looking for something light, sweet, funny and adorable. This movie has just the right amount of that. 

There were some scenes which I could do without and I was lucky I had no popcorn with me that day. I really dislike those type of humor but overall I love this movie. It was so unnecessary for the plot. Probably just in there for some cheap laughs.  

This movie : Definitely a rewatch with some fast forwarding of certain parts. Love it! 

I'm also in love with one of the soundtrack - Walk me home. On replay.

Catch the trailer here - this movie is really funny. I kept recommending it because it is so worth watching!

Hoagies Hauz

Another lunch date with Karyn. This time we ventured upstairs to level 5 to Hoagies Hauz. This little cafe is located next to the GSC cinema in Nu Sentral.

We ordered the signature sandwich for RM 12.50 and I ordered a lemonade for RM 3.50. The sandwich tasted okay but nothing special. 

The chicken tasted a little herb like but nothing too overpowering. The ingredients though were not enough and it left me feeling not completely fulfilled. I might try other things on the menu aside from the sandwiches but it will take me some time before coming back to this place.

I just wanted to join in the fun and poured out the content of my bag.

These are what I have in my bag - March edition. Content of bag might change throughout the year.

Kindle - my books are lightweight and easy to carry within one device. This keeps me busy should I need to wait for the train or anywhere else.

Glasses case - I always bring my glasses along just in case I need to remove my lens.

Satinique Hi Gloss Serum - I almost never used this but it's nice to know I have this to manage my lion mane in the wind. I usually squirt a little and rubbed it to my hair. 

Dettol hand sanitizer - this is a new addition and I used it regularly after touching things in public.

Frozz mint - for emergency purposes whenever I have onion breath and need to talk to people

Contact lens case - home for my lens. I always carry along in case my eyes gets dry and I want to remove the lens.

Comb - just because. duh.

Hair clip - my favorite type of clip. perfect for hot sweaty days and self protection.

Lip ice lip balm - for dry lips but does not provide enough moisture. Since I already have it, might as well finish it... *long wait*

Pilot pen - a pen for emergency.

Tony Moly petite bunny gloss - brother bought this for me during his Korea trip. This dries my lips a little but I love the color and how it stays on even after meal. 

Skin Food Eggplant Pen Eyeliner - sometimes I like to apply eyeliner to my bottom lashes but I hardly do nowadays - still carry it around. 

Sephora's Body Spray Mango Scent - I bought this because this is my girls were buying them too. I also like how thin the spray is - fits in my bag like a pen. 

The only thing missing in my bag are my earphones which are essential whenever I want to listen to music. 

That's it in my bag for this month. I kept switching bags depending on the amount of other items I have to bring along.

U Desserts sweet taste

After attending meetings the whole day, we went around SS2 for dessert. Initially we wanted to stop by somewhere else for some tea time but there was no parking. Where there was parking, then we stopped there and headed to the nearby dessert shop. 

The nearest shop was U Desserts which I think is quite new. Before we ordered, we were served with cold lemon water which was refreshing. They even top up when you finished your cup. 

The three of us ordered four items to try. When our orders came, they mark it. 

Pomelo and sago seeds in mango ice. As a fan of mango, I like this as it is not too sweet but just "creamy" enough.

I didn't take snap the red bean paste as it was nothing special. That was Ivy's delicious dessert. 

The sinful platter. Waffles with ice cream with fruits. I haven't had waffle in long time and the ice cream was a sweet combination with the warm waffles. I usually take my waffle with kaya or chocolate so this was a different taste. 

A platter of man tao bread like - 4 on a platter. This was marked as spicy. 

There's a spicy piece of fish fillet wrapped in mango and lettuce. I can't taste the mango as the spiciness of the fish overwhelms the mango. The spiciness was mild and tolerable. 

If I were to go back, I want to try their ice blended and durian dessert. 

U Desserts is located along the same row as Subway and two shops down from the corner Petsmore.

My dream body

When girls are looking at women like Kim K and J'lo as role model, I don't usually give them a second glance but I finally have someone to look up to. 

WWE Diva Paige has the dream body that I want. 

Forget big butts and boobs, I would just want that flat abs, toned legs and firm butt. I used to have wider waist and now I have a rectangle body. 

The way she struts down the ring exudes sexiness and confidence. Maybe because she's fair which makes me feel like I too can achieve her body. Feminine yet strong.

The Trium purchase

Clothes shopping was not my priority back then but lately I have began to understand why girls like shopping. Last year during my birthday, I was purchasing something from Kitschen and I was introduced to the Trium Card. 

Since it was my birthday month, I received 100 points. From then on, every piece of clothing I bought from Nichii, Kitschen or Dressing Paula added up my points. There's no card - it uses an app. I registered at the counter using the iPad. 

Last month I finally accumulated up to 500 points which in turn converted into a RM 50 voucher. I totally forgot about it until I received a reminder email and sms this morning that my voucher is expiring tomorrow. One month redemption. Crap. I totally forgot. 

After work I rushed to the mall to find something to purchase. I tried tops and dresses but I didn't feel it. I mean, right after Chinese New Year haul, I was not in the rush to buy any clothes. I was rushing for time against the traffic and rain. 

After 1/2 hour, I tried on a pair of pants and I was surprised at how comfortable it was. This was one of my wanted item but not in a urgent manner. I finally found one that I totally like. I squat and jump in them and I totally fell in love!

The pants cost me RM 80 so I had to fork out the additional RM 30 which I really don't mind. Time to slowly accumulate my points again!

Oh by the way, in order to redeem your voucher you need to create your PIN number beforehand as it is needed when you make your purchase. I did mine online this morning before I went.
